How to get inspired when it’s one of those days?
I woke up this morning and this question came to my mind. Ok, we all have our goals and dreams, some of us write them down, some just keep them secretly hidden in their heads not daring to reveal them to anyone. I was wondering how to get inspired when you are just simply flat down and instead of getting wind
in your wings you are just not feeling it.
I was writing before about releasing, TFT, and few other techniques of getting your mojo back on, and when I really ponder the issue deeper, I conclude it’s all about our intentions and understanding, that our mind can only be filled with either positive or negative thoughts at the same time. If you pay attention, you will see, thats its just that simple. I was listening to Tony Robbins’s “Energy for Life” program this morning and there he mentions shifting states and how vitality, energy, feelings of getting inspired all start in your head. Think about all beautiful art, music, books how they were created and where did the idea come from.
How to get inspired – your desire
Personally in my worse days I think about stories of people to get inspired. There is always someone out there, that can amaze you and get you back in action, provided that of course you do have your intention clear. To quote Deepak Chopra “when you have clarity of intention, your desire spontaneously fullfils”, so yes, step one “what does get you inspired”, you create your life and you need to know where you want to go and if that goal is clear and strong, “burning desire” as Napoelon Hill said, every time you get that picture back in the head, it should get your juices flowing.
I know what I want, so step one is done, now there is a need to get that blame burning of course:) and we all have worse days and nobody is 24/7 jumping happy machine:)
So, I love stories of people, that achieved great things against the odds, i simply love to read, hear, watch them and then i say to myself, if they could do it, i can get back on truck and achieve all I desire.
Stories of great people to get inspired
I imagine Beethoven hearing all that music in his head and creating what we can admire now and at the same time being deaf, this is bewildering, isn’t it? I loved the story about “the flying nun” – Sister Madonna Buder, do you remember her? She took part in so many “Ironman” races and at the age of over 70 kept on doing that.
The famous accident during her first World Championship Ironman was etched in the memories of her fans, when she couldn’t complete the race because she got badly injured, she felt disappointed because of her supporters who gave her a bike to ride in the race. Now, she sets one record after the other and at the age of 80 years old, has run more than 340 triathlons, and doesn’t know what all the fuss is about, did you get inspired to move your young butt and do something?:) I do.
She published her book now, called “The Grace to Race: The Wisdom and Inspiration of the 80-Year-Old World Champion Triathlete Known as the Iron Nun.”
To think, that she only started racing after 40 years of age, there is a story.
There are many, many more example of how I get inspired and what gets me moving towards my goals. One of my favourite film is “Pursuit of Happiness” with Will Smith, this I can watch over and over again and even play parts, that go straight to my heart. Those of you, who haven’t seen it, must watch!
It’s an amazing film based on the true-life story of Chris Gardner, a San Francisco salesman who was forced to turn his life up side down taking care of his young son, becoming homeless while pursuing his dream of becoming a stock broker. The way that Smith portrayed Gardner is so genuine, you literally get goose bumps, he is so real in his role, that you feel like you are in his shoes. To get really inspired in your worst days, see it and relive that story, as it is truly incredible.
Ok, today’s post is coming to an end and I definitely feel energized, just going back and writing about those stories. My days is looking good, time to get back to work and get inspired:)
May you get inspired, may Love and Light Be Always With You!
